Pork

The other "white meat” is so versatile and so darn good.  Think roast pork, barbequed ribs, bacon!  And, as a bonus, it’s still relatively inexpensive.

The recipes in this section reflect that variety.

Highlights

The recipe we’ve made the most over the last 25 years has to be Stuffed Pork Tenderloin.  It was given to us a long time ago by a friend whom we still think of every time we have it.  We serve it with scalloped potatoes, red cabbage casserole and steamed peas. It’s year-round fare and always good.

Kansas City RibsKansas City Ribs is a recipe that I developed that makes one of the best rib dinners I've tasted.  You can barbeque it on a gas BBQ but it does take 5 hours with intermittent tending, so do it sometime when you're home all afternoon.

Serve it with Southern-Style BBQ Baked Beans and Ding's Coleslaw.

If you're looking for something company-worthy, try the Pork and Leek Wellington and serve it with Root Vegetable Gratin and a green vegetable. We got the recipe that way and you will probably be asked for it too.
