Greek Food

We have Greek food at home sometimes but we like the good Greek restaurants nearby, so we haven't collected a lot of recipes for this cuisine.

Highlights

The most cooked recipe in this Section is the Shrimp with Feta in Tomato Sauce.  We serve it with Lemon Roasted Potatoes and Papoutsakia.  Makes a great week day dinner.

Moussaka might be the best idea ever in Greek cuisine and the recipe we've included is as good as it gets.

My Spanikopita are soft to the bite, but with a little crunch from the crispy filo, and have a cheesy-spinach taste that I like. They are easy to make, are almost as good when they're re-heated, and I get a lot of complements when I take them to parties!

You can buy pretty good ones ready made now, but try these - there's nothing like home cooking.
