Chinese

For a long time, we didn't cook Chinese food much at home.  We lived near San Francisco and there are many really good Chinese Restaurants in the area.  Now we live in a place where there are only a few ordinary ones so the only way I can get my Pot Stickers is to make Chinese food!  We've found several other Chinese dishes that we make often for a great Asian fix.

Highlights

Hot and Sour Soup is fairly easy to make and it is really good, especially 2-3 days after you've made it.  I love the taste of the broth with the white pepper touch and the texture of the shiitake mushrooms.

Once you've made our Pot Stickers, you'll agree that these are easily the best ones you have ever tasted.  The delicate texture of the wrapper and the delicate sesame oil flavour of the filling are wonderful.  They are best served with Joey's Sauce to dip them in.  It's flavourful, easy to  make, and really enhances the flavour of the Pot Stickers.

Watch this video to see how to make them.
