Spanish

The Spanish cuisine is not one which we know broadly.  We love Tapas and paella, but generally speaking, the spicy tastes and strong flavours of Spain are unusual for us so they aren't part of our every day cooking lives.

Highlights

I have been working on perfecting my version of paella for years and am now quite happy with the Paella Vallencia that I developed.  It is fairly easy to make, is complex and flavourful, combines seafood and meat dishes well, and looks fantastic. 

We love Tapas parties where everyone brings their favourites.  I like the Chorizo and Cheese Savory Cakes with Romesco Sauce but I usually use these opportunities to try new recipes.  There are so many great ones on the internet it's easy to find something suitable.
